Nathaniel (he/him) provides legal services in the areas of film, television, digital media, and music. These services include advising clients on corporate matters, production financing, copyright matters, talent negotiation, production service agreements, guild agreements, Errors & Omissions insurance, tax credits, and on other production-related issues. His clients include production companies, individual producers, animation studios, writers, directors, performers, musicians, visual artists, and others in the creative fields.  He was admitted to the British Columbia bar in 2013 after completing his articles at a national law firm.

Nathaniel graduated from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia in 2012. He obtained his B.A. from Dalhousie University and the University of King’s College in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Nathaniel remains active in the arts community as a board member for the Whistler Film Festival Society, and the chair of Up In The Air Theatre Society. He also volunteers with Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver.

Prior to studying law, Nathaniel worked on various Canadian television series and feature films, as well as produced several short films of his own.  Nathaniel is originally from Ottawa, Ontario, and is of Mohawk/Delaware ancestry of the Six Nations of the Grand River.

In his spare time, Nathaniel hikes, plays music, and travels the globe.
