Sarah is a solicitor who is passionate about the intersection of law, technology, and the arts. She is excited to bring her entrepreneurship and business law expertise back her hometown of Vancouver and the local creative community.
Prior to joining Chandler Fogden Aldous, Sarah completed her articles at a boutique corporate law firm in Toronto, where she focused on advising start-ups and entrepreneurs on all aspects of their business development, including incorporation, purchase and sales of businesses, shareholder agreements, tax restructuring, commercial leases, and employment and independent contractor agreements. Previously, she held an internship in the legal department of DHX Media in Toronto, where she worked on various productions and distribution deals.
Sarah received her JD from the University of Toronto in 2017, and has a BSc in Cognitive Science from Mount Allison University in New Brunswick. Sarah is called to the Bar in both BC and Ontario.
Sarah’s background in the arts includes amateur and professional theatre shows as a producer, director, stage manager, choreographer, and performer. She volunteers with Creative Mornings Vancouver and is currently working with local theatre artists to develop a play for submission at the Vancouver Fringe Festival. In her spare time, you’ll often find her listening to podcasts, cross-stitching, boxing, or cross-stitching while listening to podcasts on the way to boxing.
